The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.

I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Ya debio haber salido la primera tira de DFA2... pero pues han pasado algunas cosas que no me han dejado avanzar...

1. La buena:

Recibi una oferta de trabajo, una oferta que literalmente no podia rechazar. Me contactaron de FERNANDEZ EDITORES (amigos latinos: es una de las editoriales mas grandes de México) y hoy fue mi Ultimo dia en mi antiguo trabajo (A Dios Gracias)

Esto por supuesto me quito tiempo por papeleo y entrevistas.... pero no me quejo nadita!!! Ahora estare... en un lugar mejor

2. La mala:

Tengo un insoportable dolor de muelas, tan intenso, que no puedo ni armar 2 pensamientos coherentes.... Claro cuando traigo el dolor.

Ya me hicieron una limpieza provisional, pero aun asi me duele mucho y mañana voy a ir a que me hagan una EDODONCIA!!!

no me gusta ir al dentista u_u

En fin esto tambien me ha impedido hacer el comic...

Pero son solo pequeños retrasos, Todo sigue en Pie!!

Yes I Know!!

DFA2 its late... But I have to say that there are a couple of reasons for this

1. The Good:

I Just got a new Job!! One that could be the best job ever in my life.
Of course I had to pay a lot of attention to this! Right now im wating for june to begin so I can Start in My brand New Job, with more Money and more free time for me

2. The Bad:

I Had a terrible Toothache all week long!! So bad that I couldn't Get straight thoughts.

Im visiting my dentist Tomorrow, and I hope I can get my Tooth fixed Once and for all!!

This are just small delays, Everything stand the same!!

(update: I went to the dentist! And everithing its A OK!! And I feel Great!!)

Estimado no te preocupes, me da gusto sinceramente que te vaya bien, ya pronto tendras un mejor trabajo y estaras mas tranquilo, y bueno quiero comentarte que ya me operaron y gracias a Dios la operacion fue todo un exito, ya estoy en mi casa recuperandome y mañana me quitan los puntos, gracias por tus bendiciones, Dios ha obrado y asi de igual forma va a obrar porque diste bendiciones a un Hijo de Dios, asi que animo que no pasa nada, y bueno de lo de tu dolor de muelas, hay una pastilla que te baja el dolor, PRODOLINA, cada 6 horas, y tomar PENTREXIL y hecharle el polvito en la muela afectada para que asi mientras te hacen tu arreglo estes mas tranquilo, mi mama la usa cuando le andan haciendo limpieza o endodoncias y eso, asi que te la recomiendo ampliamente!
