This butterfly is perhaps the darkest reference I've ever used...

She(?) appears for a few seconds on the Disney's Cartoon "Springtime for Pluto" from 1944

She looks like a girl... but the caterpillar was male.... after the metamorphosis on the cocoon this gorgeous Girl(?) came out
